Locks of Love Before and After Haircut

My good friend and blog contributor, Elise cut off 14.5 inches of her hair for Locks of Love.
Do you have at least 10 inches of hair that needs to be cut? Most stylists are familiar with the Locks of Love guidelines but just to be sure you can print out the guidelines and review with your stylist.

Make sure your hair is in a pony tail when it is cut.
The hair can be sectioned into separate ponytails.
Make sure the ponytail is at least 10 inches long.
Place ponytail in a plastic bag (ex: Ziploc) instead of loose inside your mailing package.

Check out the full guidelines and their mailing address on their website: Locks of Love

From the Locks of Love website: "Most of our recipients suffer from alopecia areata. Others have experienced hair loss from radiation therapy and chemotherapy, severe burns or trauma, and various other genetic and dermatological conditions."

Are you ready to get your haircut? Why not step into the New Year with a new look and a donation to this great charity?

Have you donated to Locks of Love before? How many inches did you donate?
