Baked Quinoa & Oats with Apples & Cinnamon

If you are looking for a delicious quinoa breakfast recipe you have come to the right place. Quinoa packs some great health benefits. One benefit is that it is protein rich which makes it a great choice breakfast.

  • Wet Ingredients
1/2 cup half & half (milk is ok to use as a substitute)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs vegetable oil
  • Dry Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup quinoa
1 Granny Smith apple: peeled, cored and diced.

In a mixing bowl mix together the wet ingredients.
Next add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour mixture into greased 8x8 baking dish.
Stir mixture to evenly distribute the apples throughout the dish.
Bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes.
