Birding: White-throated Sparrow

The White-throated Sparrow has found his way into Southern Maryland for the Winter. This lovely sparrow winters mostly in the Eastern part of the United States but can also be found in California and the lower Western States.

They visit bird feeders but I have not noticed them at my feeder yet. They are in my azaleas and foraging on the ground below my feeder.
The sexes are similar. These little birds come in two different color forms: white crowned and tan crowned.
