Birding: Common Grackle

Common Grackle on a Dogwood
This afternoon I had a huge flock of Common Grackles flying around the property. The trees looked alive with all the black birds flying threw them. The sun hit this Common Grackle just right to really show off his blue hood and purple sheen.
The Common Grackle is found in Eastern North America and travel in flocks. Easy to spot.
