Birding: Great Blue Heron

I went to North Beach, MD hoping to spot some migratory shore birds. I saw three species of Gulls and they are mostly in their winter plumage. None where willing to have their photo taken. Overall it wasn't a great birding trip. I did  however spot this beautiful Great Blue Heron. The Great Blue Heron is a year-round resident of Maryland.
