The Big Apple Cocktail

It is Friday and it is quitting time! Move over warm apple pie we are breaking out the blender for a frosty cocktail with apples and cinnamon.

Apples and cinnamon, what lovely Fall flavors to put in a cocktail. I know it is cold outside and I am blending up frozen cocktails but, trust me. Go put on your ugly holiday sweater and your mittens because you won't want to miss this drink this season!

Want to go above and beyond when making this cocktail? Make your own applesauce. It is really simple, here is the directions on How to Make Applesauce.

1 oz Apple Brandy
1 oz Amaretto
6 oz Apple Juice
1 Tbs Applesauce
6 ice cubes
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Place all ingredients except the cinnamon in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Serve in a chilled glass.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.

You can't taste the alcohol in this cocktail. If you want to turn it up a notch and be able to breath fire add equal parts apple brandy and amaretto.
